Trifab offers high-definition plasma cutting and profiling services for sheet metal products made from steel, stainless steel and galvanized steel. Our high speed plasma cutting process can cut material up to ¾” thick and 6’ x15’. By applying localized heat, plasma cutting minimizes thermal distortions that would require secondary machining.
With the use of CAD drawings, the plasma cutting software provides an efficient and accurate method of cutting complex shapes and angles. For customers without CAD files, Trifab engineers will work with product designs and create the 3D CAD drawings.
At our Waynesboro, PA facility, Trifab utilizes screw machining with a turning capacity of up to 2 1/4” diameter. We specialize in machining stainless steel components for the thermal sensing and valve manufacturing industries. Each batch of screw machined parts goes through a finishing process that includes ultrasonic cleaning and vibratory tumbling with various media types.
After the initial set-up, screw machines are fully automated and can continuously perform operations such as roll threading, drilling, tapping and slotting. With multiple spindles, screw machines produce high volumes of precision parts such as:
Trifab provides custom metal fabrication services for a wide range of steel, stainless steel and galvanized steel products for the wood and paper industries. From small components to 20,000 lb weldments, we specialize in custom fabrications for industrial duct work and dust collection systems.
Trifab’s metal fabrication process includes high definition plasma cutting, shearing, pipe bending, machining, rolling and MIG, TIG and flux-core welding. With sandblasting, painting and intermediate and final assembly options, we provide completed products such as the following:
Trifab’s structural metal fabrication division specializes in the manufacturing of custom bed plates and bases for the refrigeration and pump industries. The machined bed plates and bases follow tight tolerance design requirements and range in size from a simple 3’ x 5’ formed steel plate to structural I-beam bed plates that are over 16’ wide x 45’ long. Our certified welders fabricate equipment support products such as:
Platforms
Mezzanines
Gas scrubber steel stacks
Aluminum & stainless steel pressure & fuel tanks
Frames & skids for refrigeration, pump & compressor systems
Trifab has developed important relationships with a number of OEM manufacturers who rely on our ...
In addition to typical assembly and standard deburring services, Trifab is capable of large capacity in-house sandblasting, wet painting and hot air drying. The wet painting process includes applications of enamels and 2-part epoxies, and for parts up to 20’ x 45’, our sandblasting equipment provides a finish of up to SSPC-SP-5 (white metal blast cleaning).
